The Historian & The Archaeologist
Studying History helps you to understand the world you are living in. In order to understand history you must first study the work of the Historian and the work of the archaeologist. A historian is a person who studies and writes about the past by examining primary sources - sources that come directly from the past. An archaeologist is a type of historian who studies physical evidence (artefacts) from the past and pieces this evidence together to understand how people lived during that time.
